This Appendix contains a list of the most current legal resources that are available as of the date this book was published in 1993. If you know of other services, the authors would appreciate receiving a brief note about the service you discovered and any comments you would care to share about the quality of those services. Volunteer legal services programs:

Benton-Franklin County Legal Aid, (Kennewick) (509) 783-1624. Takes some out-of-county cases. Direct representation by members of the private bar.

Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council, (Wenatchee) (509) 662-6156. Provides volunteer lawyers from among the private bar for pro se divorce.

Clark County Evergreen Legal Services, (Vancouver) (206) 693-2904. This organization does not provide referrals, they teach self-help dissolution classes.
